An Optimal New Year's Resolution

With a New Year comes new opportunity. Many of you have made resolutions for 2017 or set goals that you'd like to achieve before the next ball drops.  As we begin the New Year, the Bettendorf Chiropractic Wellness Center Staff is looking for ways to better communicate and educate our patients. We have decided to join the rest of the universe and start a blog. Our goal is to educate, entertain and share with you the latest ways to stay healthy through nutrition, chiropractic and other alternatives that are easily accessible from the comfort of your own home.

Right about now, people are making plans to participate in a variety of activities in the New Year. We get excited and eager about these activities but sometimes we forget to get our body and mind prepared before jumping right in. We must properly prepare ourselves to help prevent injuries, avoid frustration, and improve performance. Now is the perfect time for a NEW YOU in the NEW YEAR.

It should come as no surprise that most New Year’s Resolutions focus on health and fitness; eating healthier, losing weight, giving up alcohol or smoking, exercising more, etc.  We would like to suggest a New Year’s Resolution for you that will help give the gift of optimal health:  chiropractic care!  Chiropractic, only 122 years young, is well known as the best-kept secret on the planet. Within the entire chiropractic profession, patients are experiencing miracles on a daily basis without drugs or surgery. However, less than 12% of the population is taking advantage or understands the possible benefits of chiropractic care. Like you, perhaps, many come to us as a last hope for neck or back pain, others to alleviate their pain and suffering, some to be proactive in their health and wellness, many are invited by a concerned friend or colleague or family member.  Regardless of who or what brought them, the symptoms speak for themselves and the majority of you have experienced so many other benefits.   You only get one spine and there is no such thing as a spine transplant, therefore your spine must be cared for!  Chiropractic adjustments help slow down the rate at which your spine decays, which in turn decreases the degeneration of your spine. We highly recommend making chiropractic adjustments part of your wellness lifestyle.  You won’t regret it!
